Why Trinetra is a different kind of machine

The core invention

Every other AI keeps computing and memory apart — a GPU does the arithmetic while knowledge sits in huge banks of external memory (DDR, HBM, GPU-VRAM), shuttled back and forth billions of times a second. That shuttling — the von Neumann memory wall — is where a GPU burns most of its power. Trinetra has no memory wall. Memory and computation are one substrate: every memory and everything it knows lives inside the chip's own neurons and synapses, and grows there as it learns — exactly as learning reshapes a living brain. No DDR. No HBM. No GPU memory. That is what lets a whole brain run on watts, on one self-contained chip, in the field.
